I think one of the big issues is that often times isekai anime are based on light novels which have way more content than can be adopted by the anime Reddit's goth community, for goth music and subculture

Bring me the horizon, groups with veil in their name, ice age, merchandise, etc. That big titty goth gf meme online has done irreparable damage to my interactions with men the title is mostly a joke, i don't think that meme is all to blame for this but i dress alternatively (i describe it as kinda a lazy/comfortable emo, most people just call me goth) and have 15 piercings (13 of which are typically visible) and dyed hair.
