We are the hub of community organising in oxford, working together to build a better oxford by tackling inequalities of health, education and opportunity. We will make reasonable adjustments to application processes, training sessions, volunteering opportunities and other activities wherever possible, and we pay back expenses such as bus tickets. At oxford hub, our programmes provide opportunities for people to support each other to thrive, connect with their communities, and work together to make change. The oxford hub runs the core delivery of the highly effective tutoring programme, by providing comprehensive training, expanding existing partnerships, and ensuring the highest quality volunteer management for the tutors involved. Launched in 2017, big brothers big sisters oxford is based on the us mentoring programme, big brothers big sisters of america It is a local project, run in partnership between oxfordshire county council children's services and oxford hub.
