I recently ran into someone with a daughter named [name_f]zoey[/name_f], spelled xoey Poll my preference is zoe but i live in us and i’ve had a couple people say that it’ll get misspelled as zoey (and zoey will get misspelled as zoe less often) what do y’all think?? I found it odd at first but about 5 minutes later i really started crushing on it
I like the name but have never been a huge fan of any of the z spellings I prefer [name_f]zoe[/name_f] as i am not a fan of phonetic. I’m curious as to what you berries thing of it
[name_f]my[/name_f] husband and i just added [name_f]zoe[/name_f] to our list but we are debating about the spelling [name_f]my[/name_f] understanding is that they are both pronounced the same (rhymes with “joey”), and [name_f]zoe[/name_f] is the “correct” spelling with [name_f]zoey[/name_f] being the phonetic spelling
