The newly announced hydros xho light was lit at @reefapalooza_newyork I’m finding conflicting info and brs is wrong with the specs. Two sizes, 12 and 24, were on display for everyone to see
They were shining on top of a 38g icecap aio, with parwise from @itc_reefculture showing the par and intensity. Can anyone check how many watts their xho led is using and what size bar Hey all, hope this can help someone out
Both lights are actinic and full power Between reefbrite 50/50 xho and orphek or3 reef day plus, which is better to supplement radion gen5 blue? Since brs hasn’t covered this yet i did a quick output comparison between a reefbrite xho blue (30”) and an orphek or3 blue plus (24”) Figured i’d share my results with the community
I’ve always been extremely happy with xho output and spread, in fact i have them over every single reef tank. Without a doubt, quanta pro meso blue blows xho out of the water all day long In fact, comparing xho combined with orphek or2 blue plus, the meso blue beats both I had two 3' xho's and three 2' or2's over my temp tank and took some measurements, then mounted two 3' meso blues and just the two meso blues outperformed the xho's and orpheks.
