The 0x always fit like xxl at least at that store, so i would assume those two are like the same/middle ground between being in regular and plus size I think we take people's intelligence for granted sometimes lol. Just based on how that store sold those sizes and how they fit, in everyday life, i don't really notice the difference either between 0x and xxl.
There’s a difference in cut Light bulb probably would have gone off in that person's head The numbered x cuts (1x, 2x) are made for plus sized frames
Usually, 2x is plus and xxl is straight sizing However, it’s all vanity sizing and has no standardization, so you’ll find wide variations between brands, styles, and material used For example, where i work a 2x is a 20/22, whereas an xxl is a 20. The lines are parallel, but not the same.
2xl is the same as xxl Both mean 2xl and xxl are used to describe a garment that is sized extra, extra large. 2x (not 2xl, which is the same as xxl usually) specifically refers to women’s plus sizes Another explanation i’ve seen is that xxl is the next size up from xl (in all proportions)
Xl is a misses size 1x is a plus size they are not the same 1x may be cut or sized slightly different I was a xl for decades
1x was often too big and would fit me as an oversized item 75% of the time Also some designers make small changes to their products between the misses and plus versions of an item Adding gussets or different seams So a xl top is a larger size of the.
Have you noticed if listing 2x vs Xxl makes a difference in sales All three of the previous sizes are the same, correct (obviously it varies by brand, but overall i mean).
You’ll find on a lot of clothing items that xl and xxl don’t in fact mean 1x or 2x Xl and xxl tend to be cut more straight sized and smaller 1x and 2x tend to fit more roomier and are actually fit for plus size In some brands i’d go as far as to say the scale would be s, m, l, xl, xxl, 1x, 2x
Instead of saying they're the same you could have said they're the same, see xxl is a double extra large, and 2xl also means double extra large, 2x is just a different way to say xx
