Timeouts are always firewall issues Maybe i'm the first person to attempt to use it with a workspace account and it's not compatible like imap_email_content is. If the firewall is not blocking on your own server then it might be at the isp or hosting provider level.

Dkim, spf record and any domain settings I can send to my own, but i cannot send to outside np I have set up my app password as mentioned by @ganigeorgiev in another forum and used the same in the mail settings of pocketbase I am getting an eof error while trying to send test mails
What is going wrong here Instead of using smtp.gmail.com (this works) This issue has been automatically locked since there has not been any recent activity after it was closed Please open a new issue for related bugs.

I'm not sure how much with the original error, but it would definitely be worth opening the second point as an issue and hopefully we can replicate it and see where the ssl version is being set incorrectly.
