In my experience, many of the services that people recommend (alpha vantage, yahoo finance, etc.) only updated intraday data at the previous days close. That is what drove us to build dozer Everything with just a bunch of sql and yaml files. From my research on this forum and r/futurestrading, i found that td ameritrade and interactive brokers have good free/cheap market data apis.
